Cabell Huntington Hospital recently announced that they have received the 2005 Gallup Healthcare Group Award of Excellence for emergency room care.  They are one of nine hospitals nationally to receive this award.

For the second consecutive year, Cabell Huntington Hospital has been named one of the nation's top performance improvement leader hospitals by Solucient, a leading provider of strategic business and clinical information for the healthcare industry.

King's Daughters Medical Center has been named one of the Nation’s 100 Top Hospitals® by Solucient, the leading source for healthcare performance data.  King's Daughters is the only healthcare facility in the Tri-State region to be named to the 100 Top Hospitals list. The medical center was selected among the nation’s top 20 “Large Community Hospitals,” a category that includes hospitals with more than 250 beds.

For the second consecutive year, King’s Daughters has received the Consumer Choice Award from the National Research Corporation (NRC). The award identifies hospitals that healthcare consumers have chosen as having the highest quality and image in the Huntington, W.Va., and Ashland, Ky., market.

CAMC Teays Valley Hospital is a non-profit, 68-bed hospital located in Hurricane, WV. It is owned and operated by CAMC Teays Valley Hospital Inc., a subsidiary of CAMC Health System Inc. At CAMC Teays Valley Hospital, some 100 doctors with privileges at the hospital, working with more than 300 nurses and non-clinical staff, serve the residents of Putnam County and surrounding areas with emergency services and other specialized care.

In the July/August 2005 issue of the AARP Magazine two hospitals were recognized as one of the "Best Employers for Workers Over 50."  St. Mary's Medical Center was rated 37th.
